CRUST Series
Designer / Raw-Edges, London
BY CONDEHOUSE
In 2007, Yael Mer and Shay Alkalay established the design studio Raw
Edges in London. They value design that holds form, function, and color, with an approach that leaves plenty of room for playfulness and inquisitiveness. Using this rich philosophy, they have been able to
offer their designs for use in collaborative products with brands known throughout the world, including Vitra, LOUIS VUITTON, and STELLA McCARTNEY. They have received awards including Elle Decoration, Edida Award, and Wallpaper Design Award.

HANDCRAFTED / MADE TO ORDER
Craftsmanship that shares Japanese aesthetics with the world.
Respect for nature and consideration for people are important Japanese values, and CondeHouse has applied these principles to their craftsmanship throughout all of their 50+ years in business.
The heart of Japan is reflected in the gentle shapes and intricate functions - CondeHouse believes these values enable them to make everyone’s life more comfortable.
CondeHouse combines a judicious material selection with traditional handcraft & computer-aided production technology, succeeding in allowing nature to live on in a new form.

WOOD TYPES, FINISHES, UPHOLSTERY & LEATHER
The application of wood and finish differs depending on the individual items. The colour in the images may appear different from that on the actual products. Japanese Oak is likely to have tiger stripes. Other natural marks may also appear on top boards, backrests, arms, etc., which are an intentional part of the design, providing a beautiful harmony.
