Returns + Exchanges — A Thoughtful Approach

At Japandi Supply House, we invite thoughtful purchasing. Each product is sourced with care, shipped with intention, and crafted to last. When an item travels to you, then back again, and out once more, it triples the energy, emissions, and handling for a single piece. We encourage mindful decisions—consider size, materials, and fit for your home before ordering. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help you find the best solution.

Return Eligibility

  • Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and resellable condition with all accessories and inserts.
  • Return shipping costs are deducted from refunds unless otherwise stated.
  • Refunds are issued within 5–10 business days after we receive and inspect your return.
  • Where eligible, you may choose:
    • Exchange 
    • Store Credit
    • Refund to original payment method (minus restocking and shipping fees where applicable)

Furniture

Includes: CondeHouse, Mater, House of Leon, Cane-Line, Ginza Lines

  • All furniture and furniture accessories are FINAL SALE, unless the item arrives damaged or defective.
  • If there is an issue, email orders@shopjapandi.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos and your order number.

Lighting

Includes: Tala

  • Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery.
  • A 10% restocking fee applies.
  • Customer pays return shipping (deducted from refund).
  • Exchanges are encouraged if the desired item/finish is in stock.
  • Refund options: store credit or original payment (minus restocking and shipping).

Bedding & Home Goods

Includes: Cozy Earth, Sunday Citizen, Yamazaki Home, Powered by People, Village Thrive, Material Kitchen, Boo Oh, Cedar & Myrrh, Yohola Yoga

  • Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery.
  • 10% restocking fee applies.
  • Customer pays return shipping (deducted from refund).
  • Cozy Earth & Yamazaki Home: we will generate a brand-issued return label and email it to you for faster processing.

Tatami Mats

  • FINAL SALE due to custom packaging and hygiene considerations.
  • If damaged/defective on arrival, email orders@shopjapandi.com within 48 hours with photos.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or defective, please email orders@shopjapandi.com within 48 hours of delivery. Include your order number, clear photos of the packaging and product, and a brief description of the issue. We’ll review promptly and arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.

International Orders

All international orders are FINAL SALE and ineligible for return, refund, or exchange at this time.

Exchanges

  • Not applicable to furniture.
  • For eligible items, exchanges are encouraged if your desired item/finish is in stock.
  • Please send your original item back first; once received and inspected, we’ll ship the exchange.

Refund Timing

Refunds (where eligible) are processed within 5–10 business days after the returned item is received and inspected. Original shipping fees are non-refundable. Any applicable restocking fees and return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount.
