Barringer is a coffee table designed by a Turkish interior designer, Atilla Kuzu, named after the meteor crater in Arizona. Since its launch in 2002, it has been one of the most popular items especially in the European market. 

Launched during the International Furniture Design Competition in Asahikawa in 2002, this low table possesses both functionality and the charm of an art piece.

Its name originates from the Barringer Crater, a meteor crater located in Arizona brimming with natural beauty. With ultra-smooth sliding top compartments that offer hidden storage, the elegant and practical Barringer has maintained considerable popularity.

Designer

Designer: Atilla Kuzu, Turkey

Atilla Kuzu established ZOOM TPU in 1994, and was involved in boutique and large store design. He was awarded at IFDA in both 1999 and 2002, and he and his partners at ZOOM TPU received the Turkish Design・Interior Design Award for their work on the Acibadem General Hospital project in 2005. He debuted the ATILLA collection at IMM Cologne in 2010, and is currently involved in furniture design projects for large-scale stores and general hospitals.
