    ATILLA’s simple silhouette yet geometric and dynamic charm make it one of the most unique items available through CondeHouse.

    This sofa was created in collaboration with Turkish designer Atilla Kuzu. The theme of ATILLA’s design is a flawless fusion of linear beauty and function. The backrest and seat are fully cushioned and upholstered up to the corners, and the back side of the sofa is wooden, expressing the beauty of the wood as well as allowing the sofa to be easily placed against a wall. The back contains removable cushioned portions that can be neatly tucked away or extended to function as plush armrests. 

    This item pairs well with the BARRINGER sliding coffee table, TOSAI lounge chairs, and the TEN media cabinet. It is also perfect for hospitality, corporate, and other large public spaces. Available in 95″ and 84″ varieties. Pair with the ATILLA Ottoman to complete the look and feel of the room.

    DESIGNER

    Atilla Kuzu

    Atilla Kuzu established ZOOM TPU in 1994, and was involved in boutique and large store design. He was awarded at IFDA in both 1999 and 2002, and he and his partners at ZOOM TPU received the Turkish Design・Interior Design Award for their work on the Acibadem General Hospital project in 2005. He debuted the ATILLA collection at IMM Cologne in 2010, and is currently involved in furniture design projects for large-scale stores and general hospitals.

    "In every object so far, I try to provide a different approach by examining all previous examples and questioning their accepted practises and usages to capture a simple starting point for design. I then apply a form from the endless permutations possible in geometry.

    While I do this, important criteria regarding the corect relation of users to the product are formed in the effort to provide new ways of usage without alienating users. In general I try to ensure that products are contemporary, modern, and ageless, and that they bridge the time when they were desgined and the present, hoping the impact of their design and creation can be preserved for long periods."
