The Lobster Chair & Ottoman is an exclusive and elegant Danish designed new modern. The chair has been designed by LUND & PAARMANN and was first launched in 2008. Lobster is produced using quality materials: the shell is molded beech with a walnut veneer or black beech veneer on the outside whit a mat lacquered surface easy to clean, on the indeside with leather from Sorensen Leather.

Crafted by skilled Danish designers with a strong dedication to quality and intricate design, the Lobster Chair + Ottoman - Walnut FLP is an exceptional addition to any space. Its enveloping shape provides perfect comfort for unwinding after a busy day or indulging in a captivating read or show. Inspired by the distinctive exoskeleton of lobsters, the chair's name pays homage to its distinctive form.

This lounge chair is the perfect choice for the customer who wants a Danish design icon, or for commercial and hotel interiors, as well as lounge areas where a unique and design-conscious and luxurious interior is desired.

The Lobster chair features a molded walnut veneer or black lacquered oak veneer shell. It is handmade and upholstered with Oeko-Tex certified cold cured foam for optimal comfort. The chair is covered in soft Semi Aniline leather, giving it a stylish and sleek appearance. Its shell is uniquely constructed from seven precisely cut pieces, creating a distinctive look that reflects the texture of a lobster's shell.

The base of the Lobster chair is available in solid matte chrome plated stainless steel or black powder coated steel. The base has a 360 degree swivel function, allowing the chair to rotate all the way around. The base's special construction and support arm provide comfortable suspension, adding an extra element to the already extraordinary seating comfort.

The Lobster chair can be supplied with an accompanying footstool, which complements the seating experience.

Sustainability

The Lobster chair is handmade in Europe, and crafted with care. The chair's outer shell is produced in FSC certified veneer. The chair is padded with Oeko-Tex certified cold foam, so you can be sure that you're investing in a sustainable piece of furniture.

Founded in 2008 by the two childhood friends Jacob Munch and Henrik Bruun. The two sober minded owners from the southern part of Denmark have known each other since the age of five. Their pursuit for perfection was failing to be met when it came to furniture so they decided to make their own, and form a company with an uncompromising approach to design and quality. Bruunmunch has developed dramatically from the early days. But the processes within production has not changed since the first piece of furniture was created by the two owners from Esbjerg.
