    Designed by Space Copenhagen, the High Stool Backrest incorporates a new backrest that complements the beautifully fluid, sculptural, and archetypal design of the original High Stool. The backrest, upholstered in soft and durable leather, provides a heightened level of comfort without the need for armrests.

    To create this piece, Space Copenhagen drew inspiration from classic, simple, and sculptural elements, resulting in a collection made of sustainably sourced solid oak or beech wood with a steam bent veneer backrest. Suitable for both residential and hospitality settings.

    The wood is sustainably sourced from well-managed forests, honouring the UN Sustainable Development Goals of protecting “Life on Land” (SDGs 15) and “Responsible Consumption and Production” (SDGs 12) while supporting “Partnership for the Goals” (SDGs 17).
